Socks Campaign for Ukraine Refugees
Miindia Foundation, in partnership with PIAST Institute (Hamtramck), collected around 400 pairs of socks for Ukrainian refugees hosted in churches in Poland. Thank you to IGGF (Canton) and other generous donors.
Total collection – 7,885 pairs of socks.
To give an update on our packages, they should be arriving in Poland THIS Saturday (4/16) and will help so many men, women, and children.
Did you know that socks are one of the most requested items at homeless shelters? We have been asked many times, why socks? The honest answer is, why not? Refugees had traveled long distances for long periods without an opportunity to wash clothing, and a fresh pair of socks could warm feet and hands.
We cannot thank everyone enough for their support in making this effort a huge success. Great job! *Not all staff and volunteers are pictured!* THANK YOU. GOD BLESS YOUR HOMES. Please continue to pray for Ukraine and all those who are suffering.
