About Us

The Miindia Foundation was formed in 2005 following the massive Tsunami tragedy in Southeast Asia. Over $25,000 was raised in three weeks by the Michigan Indian community to help the survivors of the tragedy in India, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. By coordinating with the local Rotary Clubs, the funds were channeled directly to the people in need.

The Miindia Foundation has since then expanded to help serve the community in which we live and are associated with the resources and tools to empower children and adults in economically underserved areas.

The mission of the Miindia foundation is to serve students in the realm of school supplies, health kits, and other necessary items in Michigan, the United States, and India. The Foundation also focuses on helping the homeless and disadvantaged with tools and resources from corporations and their professionals. Additionally, the Foundation helps with disaster relief through community fundraising, partnering with local and international charity organizations. The Foundation also raises funds for independent organizations working towards specific needs such as food, shelter, and supplies.

The Miindia Foundation is an IRS approved 501 © (3) organization. All contributions are tax-deductible under IRS rules. The Miindia Foundation is committed to ensuring that all of the donations directly benefit the needy with NO depletion of funds to support administrative costs. All administrative support provided by individuals are completely voluntary.
